The biped could now sense what Friday was already sensing. This Oasis was not hospitable to visitors trekking to its fiery waters.

Yup.
Pete is insisting on dragging out the cliff hanger for another weekend.
No surprise here.

YOU'RE MAKING IT ABOUT YOU, RIFF.
It think it's about time he gets around to checking his notes

Could be wrong, but I get the impression this scene is far from done ramping up.

How evil of him to have a cliffhanger before the weekend!

Way to misread the room.

I expect two more weeks on the cliff, unless they all fall down go boom.

The balance between the threatening first half and the "this isn't about me" first half makes me better. "A lot more duct tape" than knives! :)

Well, looks like a false sense of security won't be Riff's problem this time...

No no no, the cliffhanger will probably come next week. After all, we were almost but not quite given a cliffhanger last time we were here.

And gotta give credit to Oasis for her restraint. And for being so badass.

She did show restraint there, didn't she--much more than in the past!

Hey Riff, if you have so much duct tape, wouldn't it be a good idea to use more of it to have a little margin, so that the cutting of just one piece won't overload all the others?
