Monday sees that last weeks code was too hard. Even though most of you reading this right now have already been looking at what is needed to decipher it... Of course if you stared at this for a while, 9.311.9.1.1, you might just have your "eureka" moment to help with figuring things out. Nope, not going to tell you any more. ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. Sat=[#140 +0 *695] Sun=[#140 +0 *711] Mon=[#140 +0 *726] NCoIDâ„¢25

Torg, your shield broke.
Also, about time something went Schlock's way.

I think the lyrics of today's piece of music reflect my thoughts better than anything else I could say. Today's song you ask? It's Never Die Young by James Taylor.

It's funny how both Torg and Schlock are doing things that play right into each other's hands. The comparison between Schlock, who seems to be perfectly fine with the horrible things he does to accomplish his goals, and Torg, who feels guilt and reluctance to do things he knew (or knows, in the case of what he's going to do now - today's strip gave a HUGE hint as to what it is, too) were necessary, is interesting. I wonder if it's intentional or coincidental on Pete's part.

Oh no! Kesandru wrote: Zillatain wrote: Also, about time something went Schlock's way. At least until Torg gets his composure back. Schlock just made a massive mistake. You're right, this is going to steel some determination in him for whatever "bad" thing he has to do.

Some black humor in Oasis' "Again?" She's gotta be getting tired of dying.
And Torg is remarkably lucky that none of those bullets hit him, even if he was hiding behind her.

I'm still baffled that Torg didn't know that one most important thing about Oasis, after all his research about her.

Schlock said he was going to shoot her and Torg's plan was to use her as a shield. I mean, how else are we going to find the respaw- err, rebirthing site?

You mean Schlock didn't secure the "rebirth" site before killing Oasis!

OK, I was wrong about Torg anticipating this. Even so, I anticipated this. Too many plot points that need to be resolved for her not to get shot.

"Clean head shot"?
Seriously HC? Someone needs to show Hereti Corp what a clean head shot looks like...
