Indeed Lacy, you will be very helpful. WHEN WE ARE FLAYING YOUR MIND AND YOUR MANY SECRETS LEAK OUT! At least that's what Friday thinks sounds like a viable plan. Also always remember to keep your Gwynn away from open flames. ---------- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Please remember to vote every day until the world ends (someday).

Is that Ozzid? Seems like the obvious choice, but I can't really tell.

So, Ozzid was freed after all. Look like he might not have shared much information about Siphy II, then.
I will not try to draw any sort of speculation from the hour-glass pattern on the pillow. It is, after all, a very common pattern.
Anyway, I am glad Torg have Zoë have finally some "them" time, but I can't help but wonder... Where is Meander?

Smiling too much to unpack everything going on in these images. Great work Pete, I'm just going to stare at them until I'm late for work! (again)

I would say that I am happy Gwynn let him out of the book, but it seems like he is not all that happy. It's a bit crazy for him here. He likes calm and peace. I am curious as to whether Gwynn bothered to talk to him much about Siphy II.

Those bells on the wall seem to be among the few things that are quiet. :-)
Wait, who is playing with fire, if Riff is in the scroll? Does Aylee breathe fire in this form?

so much "awww" in one day's panels...
I like that Ozzid got to come out and play, though I wonder about the properties of the "demon jar" he's inhabiting (like the one holding Lacey). Hopefully he'll get some rest soon.

I don't think Lacey was held by her jar. She was held by the Magus Interitus Infundibulum painted on the ceiling. I think the jar was more for aesthetic reasons than containment.

In the last panel of Wednesday's page you can see the magic circle on the base of the jar. In the third and fourth panels you can see that the jar is on one side of the room, not in the center under the circle in the ceiling. The bell jar as such may well be symbolic, but Lacey has been moved out of the magic funnel and is held by the magic circle around the jar.

Right you are. I totally missed the runes on the jar.
