So I guess the demon whose secrets are taken gets killed too. I wasn't too clear on that from Gwynn's description and was wondering if Tomb had used that on Chilus.

I will just say this, for someone who discovered all those demon's secrets, her knowledge about getting immortality was a bit lacking, in the end.

Yeah, but her knowledge gathering was being manipulated. She was being used as a pawn, as much as any demon was. I doubt the manipulator misses her.
