It's nice of Sam to try for the "Riff" look for Torg's benefit. Though the round sunglasses make him look more like Dimension-of-Lame Riff than our own.

Why is Sam dressed like Riff?
Why does Sam have a chorus singing, "he's onto us?"
Why is Sam wearing a "Monster Hunter" shirt?
Is there the slightest chance this has anything to do with the real Riff?
I guess I should just wait for the punchline next comic.

Aw. This was kind of touching. But I would like to know what's up with Torg's shirt, since I don't think we've ever had plot-revealing shirts that were acknowledged in-story (but I could be wrong).
So does this mean yesterday's scene with the kid is actually present day?
