Panel 6 seems like it happens mere moments after 5. You see the eyes, so it appears they are being mind-wiped right at that moment, but Sam's shades are already gone, Torg's jacket is gone, and his shirt has 888 on it. I think it would have flowed better if they started moving, the eyes appear, then only in panel 7 would everything be missing.
It just feels off to me.

It just feels off to me. I think it's showing the eyes moving back into the mist after it mind-wiped our heroic (?) duo.
