Sam then noticed he forgot to hold his breath. Sam then then noticed he forgot he doesn't have to breath.

"That is one ornate back to a hand-mirror you've got there." Stylish pick-up line!
He should have told Sam to attack immediately, but I guess Sam wouldn't be up for it.

I'm no mycologist ... but is her name Amanita Phalloides by any chance?
Just wondering.

That’s a perfectly normal thing to do, Torg.

So it's the mirror, not the spores/mist? I guess we still don't completely know how this works. Spirantz wrote: That’s a perfectly normal thing to do, Torg. Woman: Help! Torg: Can i hold your valuable possession? Eh. She doesn't seem surprised; it's probably just some goop.

I'm no expert in reading mushroom dried facial expressions, but "round and round we go" seems pretty indicative of a working memory to me.

Well, sure, she has a working memory. She does not, however, expect Torg to have all his hard drives backed up. Her comment seems to indicate she thinks this is just another turn in the lather-rinse-forget cycle. She's probably just saying "eh, there's another bit I forgot to clip".
