Monday wonders what would happen if you break the mirror...

Kinda disappointed they didn't go full evil moths.

Yes! Classic hilariously ingenious plan by Torg :torg: and gang. It seems to have worked. Let's hope there's nothing to backfire!

Plan B worked, but I kinda wish Plan A itself had worked in the first place.

I don't really get why it resulted in the mirror unloading, though.

Thus, the legendary emergency pants finally took a much earned rest. Forever vigilant, awaiting the next king of england to unsheath it from its firm but dusty bonds.

Gwynn: I would call this plan "pants on head stupid" but if it works.

Sam: Normally Sam's plan is to get into the lady's pants so this was confusing.

Torg just needs the shades and he can cosplay as The Postal Dude.

Wow. So typically and hilariously effective. Pete... bravo yet again. I just hope this is truly the end of that one.

Heehee... my forum-mates never disappoint.

Gwynn sneaked up behind her and looked into the mirror, which had the expected effect; Gwynn got her memories back, and freed up enough of the hag's RAM to allow her access to her power again. Of course it also gave Gwynn the ability to use her own power, and... voila.

They needed a distraction. Torg's tighty whities for the win. Now please put them back on before it distracts us from the next page.

Haha! The sillier the plan is, the better it works.

I guess they agreed on the real plan in writing, and talked about a fake plan for the wood ears to hear, misleading both the hag and us readers.

OK, Gwynn sneaked up and looked in the mirror, I get that part.

Why did Sam put the pants on her head? Why did Torg's spell put the pants in the book? Was it all just a goofy Torg distraction (Torgstraction??) so Gwynn could ambush the hag from behind?

As far as I understand, yes.

Because Torg cast the pants-into-book spell that he previously discovered by mispronouncing the transfer-demon-from-person-to-book spell.

Why did Torg cast the pants-into-book spell instead of doing nothing in that moment? That's unclear. Maybe the idea was that it would confuse the hag more or keep her distracted for longer than if they had let her just rip the pants off her head.

Could Torg and Sam have done something else instead, like maybe tackle the hag while she was blinded by the pants, or yank the mirror out of her hand? Maybe, but who knows what magic defenses she might have against such attacks?

Why did Pete have Torg cast the pants-into-book spell? Because it's silly and funny.

I'm not sure which of those questions you meant to ask, so I tried to answer all of them.

And, You know... Maybe it could have actually worked.
