Famous People You've Never Heard Of

Postby inspiration » Thu Feb 02, 2017 2:58 pm

Because they don't exist. A forum game!

The first poster lists a few things the famous person might be famous for, and the next poster gives their bio before providing a new list.

Example:

Poster A: badgers, Cambodia, cheese

Poster B: Hun Buna (1842-1894), noted for helping feed his native Cambodia during French colonization by developing a delicious local cheese made from badger milk.

Go!

My list: tell me who's famous for cats, chocolate, the beach

Sumiki Tadoyama (643 - 672) was an at-the-time-undistinguished merchant's wife who made a messy, complicated origami work entitled 'cloud', which went unremarked for over a millenium, but we now recognize as the balloons used for Martian descent by the Spirit and Opportunity missions, partially deflated.

Tyler Tylerson (1985 - 1960?) whose long, quixotic quest to popularize a wheeled fire hydrant caused him to be the first person to derisively be called "a very special snowflake."
